Houston Among Top Cities for Single Travelers

Houston Chronicle has recently reported the survey results conducted by Dating site Match. According to the survey, more than one-fourth of singles in Houston are going on date while being on a business trip.

With the advancing technologies, the matching sites are now considered very popular. People have shifted from the simple encounters in bars and restaurants to dating sites which give more flexibility.

Nevertheless, Houston remains a popular hub for more or less “traditional” single travelers, who prefer bars and restaurants over matching sites. The city is among the top ones for those who want to start romantic affairs while traveling for business in Houston.

In 2015, Travel and Leisure named Houston as one of the best city for singles in the United States. The city offers a huge college community, places for entertainments, the best bars and dining options which directly supported the dating. Besides, different types of industries attract employees from around the world, thus making them settle down in Houston and start relationships.

Several involved parties have conducted a collaborative survey on “Frequent Flyer Dating” habits. The survey evaluated three local spots as the best date-night destinations.

Lei Low Bar in the Height, 6412 North Main, received the title for the best place for enjoying drink before and after dinner. The bar attracts a lot of single travelers for its “trendy” vibes.

The expansive patio at downtown’s Batanga is called the best place for dinner. It gives casual, open-air vibe to its attendants. The mix of Latin and Brazilian menu makes it one of the most favorite place for single travelers.

For happy hour, Midtown’s Mongoose vs. Cobra is the best place for beer amateurs. This popular spot offers both classic and modern and offers something for every taste.
